Surrey Art Gallery Association is a non-profit society dedicated to supporting Surrey Art Gallery and local artists.

Since 1984, the Surrey Art Gallery Association has been raising funds and operating programs that complement those at the Surrey Art Gallery through membership and other programs. SAGA encourages public education, conversation in visual arts, and supports local artists.

Proceeds from SAGA’s fundraising contribute to Surrey Art Gallery’s exhibitions, publications, and programs, including acquiring artworks for the permanent collection and supporting the development of the Gallery’s UrbanScreen.

SAGA believes contemporary art provides the community with an opportunity to reflect upon culture, society, social issues, and ideas of our time. We believe people deserve access to visual and cultural heritage, and SAGA plays an essential role in realizing these goals through the events and services provided as well as by actively supporting the programs of Surrey Art Gallery.
